NEW PATIENTS

AT INGERSOLL DENTAL CENTRE, OUR OFFICE GUIDELINES ENSURE THAT YOUR VISITS GO AS SMOOTHLY AS POSSIBLE.

MEDICAL UPDATES

Changes to your general medical health can impact your dental health. It is important that all patients keep us up to date regarding their overall health and the medications they are taking. Be sure to bring a list of any medications you are currently taking, including dosages (this includes over-the-counter medications and natural health products), to your first visit, and continue to update us as things change.

DENTAL HISTORY

If you have been having regular dental visits, you should contact your previous dentist to see if there are current X-rays that could be forwarded to our office. If you prefer, please call us and we can do this for you.

A REVIEW OF YOUR DENTAL CARE HISTORY

We will review your dental care history, as well as any concerns you currently have about your oral health.

A COMPLETE ORAL EXAM WITH X-RAYS

A thorough oral exam, including X-rays, will help us assess your overall dental health and identify any issues early.

A FULL ORAL HEALTH PLAN

We will prepare recommendations for your complete oral health, which will include full oral maintenance as well as any additional dental services we mutually agree upon.

Needless to say, every patient is an important part of our team. So, if there’s something specific that you would like to discuss about your oral care, please let us know. We are happy to listen and help.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT INSURANCE BENEFITS

Remember that you are an essential part of your dental care, and treatment decisions should be made in collaboration with your dental care provider.

A dental plan can be a great help in covering the cost of dental care. However, your dental plan may not cover the full cost of your required treatment. By maintaining good oral care habits in your daily life, you are making a long-term investment in your well-being.

Ingersoll Dental Centre is pleased to submit, process, and complete any necessary forms or estimates at your request. However, dental insurance is a contract between you and your insurance carrier. Therefore, it is your responsibility to know what your insurance covers and to inform our office of any changes to your insurance (e.g., carrier, policy, identification numbers, or plan maximums). This will ensure that your claims are processed correctly.

Our practice assists patients with most dental plans and helps clients receive reimbursement from their insurance programs. If you have concerns regarding your insurance benefits, please do not hesitate to call our office and speak to our treatment coordinator.
